Position Profile
Job Description:
- Develop reports for Finance, HR and other Corporate departments using SQL and Crystal Reports.
- Develop reports which include dynamic grouping fields, dynamic group sorting, on-demand sub-reports, drilldown and summary report/Created Cross Tab reports highlighting key summary information/Ability to re-designing or customizing the existing Views and Stored Procedures to suit the reporting needs.
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis.
- Responsible for all aspects of reporting solution including: new report generation, report optimization, customization of existing reports and standardization of reports.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in developing reporting solutions for Financial, HR reporting, and other Corporate functions.
- Development and implementation of reports primarily utilizing Crystal Reports XI R2.
- Experience in interacting with business users, gathering requirements, and preparing report specifications.
- Strong knowledge of Database concepts and Relational Database Management Systems such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle, and MS Access.
- Experience in developing Procedures and Views, on databases such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Skilled in the use of Structured Query Language (SQL) as a tool for retrieving, updating, inserting, deleting, manipulating and managing data stored in enterprise databases.
- Experience in installation, configuration and administration of Crystal Reports and ODBC.
- Development of reports which include parameterized reports (Static, Dynamic & Cascading Prompts), formulas, nested groups, manual running totals, summaries, conditional formatting and charts.
- Ability to optimize reports by making existing reports more dynamic and flexible by utilizing parameters, prompts and triggered alerts.
- Enhanced old reports utilizing comments, descriptions, edit masks and by improving overall documentation standards.
- Published Crystal Reports in web based environment using Business Objects Enterprise XI.
- Export reports into various formats such as PDF, HTML, EXCEL, and WORD.
- Self-motivated, fast learner with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Flexible and adaptable.
