IT Production Control - Hyperion

Position Profile

Job Description:

The IT Production Control - Hyperion will provide critical support in the areas of IT Change Management and operation within the Hyperion environments. Position is responsible for effectively managing the change control process to production for the reporting and analytics system with strict adherence to all current and future SOX controls. The role will focus on the data and control processes to communicate the necessary information needed for management to make compliance decisions. This opportunity has the potential for extremely strong growth for the right candidate as it will work with several key areas within both IT and the business.

Duties include:

  • Coordinate application migration process through non-Production and Production environments according to Change Control policies and procedures.
  • Ensure complete and compliant documentation and approval processes are performed for all controlled changes.
  • Coordinate and/or execute application refresh cycles on non-Production environments.
  • Monitor ticket queues to ensure changes and non-production environment service requests are properly prioritized and worked according to priority.
  • Provide guidance and answer questions regarding Change Control procedures, documentation requirements, and compliance (SOX, SAS 70, and HIPAA).
  • Work with IT Project Managers, Hyperion Development team, and Operations personnel to coordinate IT implementations and ensure established timelines are met.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in IT roles with progressively increasing responsibility desired.
  • Experience using help desk software such as Remedy, ServiceDesk Plus, or similar.
  • Experience with the following tools, platforms, and methodologies useful: SQL, Windows Server, Team Foundation Server, ITIL, Business Intelligence technologies (such as Hyperion), Agile and/or Scrum development.
  • Previous experience in IT Operations, Project Management, or Change Management in a hosted, SaaS environment is desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team member and effectively enforce time-sensitive processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a challenging, fast-paced environment among highly productive IT professionals.
  • The successful candidate will be available to work flexible hours (evenings, early mornings, and weekends) regularly to support production changes.
  • Must be locally based in Chicago, IL.
